Skin modifier

I’ve been testing this new modifier, and did some doodles with meshes created with it. Here are some renders and time lapse videos of each sculpting session.

  1. Thanks 🙂 Lizard guy turned out good even though I was just fooling around and had no clear idea what I was doing 😀

    I don’t know which of the two matcaps you’re referring to, so, here are both:

    I don’t remember where the first one comes from any more, the second, brownish, one is from a blenderartists user called Romeo. The guy has great sculpts posted in there.

  2. Some really cool stuff there! Is that modifier in the newer builds or is it a branch? Pretty fantastic level of detail you’re getting there, perhaps I’ll start sculpting a bit more in Blender…

  3. @Brandon: thanks! 🙂 sorry for the late reply, you probably will know by now, but, don’t think the skin modifier is in trunk, you’ll have to get a build with the patch included.
